Devlog 3 - Custom songs & other pointless stuff to make the game longer
Yes, you read the title right. After reaching 6 of the 8 endings, DETUNED will unlock its greatest source of frustration: the song editor. This has been a pain in the keyboard to make due to the game being designed around random generation, but it’s finally working. You even get to name your audio-based creations of pain
This isn’t the only new addition. The built-in achievement system from “Me and My Eldritch Parasite” returns to this game, this time with 17 achievements (technically 10 since the 8 endings have a separate achievement each one to double as a way to check your progress).
So what now? Well, mostly lots of testing and polishing remain to be done, but the game is fully playable at the moment. I intend to wait for the Steam Next Fest to see if the demo gets any attention there, and release it in late June.
