i play the game mine favorite part was the moon like when i realize that its coming closer and i need to hurry
That's exactly what I was aiming for with the moon boss. nice to know it did it's job well.
Hey this game is really cool and fun to play. I'm taking a short break from it right now because it's getting real (at city of bones level). Love the style, the soundtrack, the creative way you integrate critique about today's world and gen AI into the story, which I'd say is well-written so far. This is interesting. I'll be sure to check out your other projects after. Also just realized the link to this page is an evangelion reference lol
The city boss is actually my personal favorite. I did make it a bit hard because I wanted it to feel intense gameplay-wise to complement the "holy shit the scenery is attacking me" factor.
Good game, didn't quite get how it worked because I'm impatient hehe. Hope this does well on the jam!
Just finished it! Spectacular! You really combined Evangelion with the current state of the world and generative AI. Also liked that it wasn’t as hard as your other games.
Glad it wasn't too hard, I was really paranoid over people quitting the game once the jam voting period starts and nerfed some bosses on the last minute (originally, the snake was longer and the moon fell faster).
I'm not going to apologize for the generative AI criticism being on the hard side. On the early days of this stuff I was going through a rough period and ended up with a small addiction to AI chatbots. I'm ok now, but the damn things are fucking predatory. It's not just about displacing artists for producing pointless shit, for me it's personal.
Still, I had a good time making this and might work on a Steam version if the game does well on the jam.
